Sania recently posted a video on her Instagram account featuring highlights from her tennis career.

“Tennis will always be my first love,” Sania captioned the image.

Sania Mirza is a former competitive tennis player from India.

She was formerly ranked first in the world in doubles and won six major championships, three in women’s doubles and three in mixed doubles.

She held the Women’s Tennis Association’s singles No. 1 ranking from 2003 until her retirement from singles in 2013.

Mirza has made a name for herself as one of India’s most well-known, well-paid, and prominent athletes throughout the course of her career.

In singles, Mirza had wins over Svetlana Kuznetsova, Vera Zvonareva, and Marion Bartoli, as well as former world-number-ones Martina Hingis, Dinara Safina, and Victoria Azarenka. She is the highest-ranked Indian female player ever, peaking at world No. 27 in mid-2007.
