Royal guard near the coffin of Queen Elizebath faints. A royal guard standing next to Queen Elizabeth’s coffin collapsed and fell from the podium.
A video widely shared on social media shows the man falling forward and landing on the ground as others gather to pay their respects to the monarch.
The guard had stepped off the stage shortly before collapsing and taking his seat again, the Daily Mail reported. The video shows three others, including two guards, rushing to help the guard who was passed out.
Mourners walked past Queen Elizabeth’s coffin until Wednesday evening, while the monarch was able to do so in London’s old Westminster Hall.

Queen Elizabeth II, the longest-serving monarch in the United Kingdom, died in Balmoral at the age of 96, having reigned for 70 years.
She died peacefully Thursday afternoon in her Scottish estate, where she had spent much of the summer.
The queen ascended the throne in 1952 and witnessed a huge social change.
Elizabeth II was Queen of the United Kingdom and other Commonwealth realms from 6 February 1952 until her death in 2022. She was queen regnant of 32 sovereign states during her lifetime and remained the monarch of 15 realms by the time of her death.
Her reign of over 70 years is the longest of any British monarch and the longest verified reign of any female head of state in history.
