2 PIA aircrafts narrowly escaped tragedy in Karachi. Despite colliding with birds at Jinnah International Airport Karachi, two Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) aircraft narrowly escaped tragedy, according to authorities.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has not yet put an end to air accidents caused by birds.
Sources claim that a bird struck the PK-350 flight from Karachi to Peshawar as it was taking off from the airport.
At the same airport, a bird struck another aircraft, PK-305 from Lahore to Karachi, as it was descending.
The pilot of the aircraft PK-350 immediately headed back to the airport after the bird strike.
Additionally, officials started examining PK-305, a different flight, for damage brought on by the bird accident. A PIA representative confirmed both incidents.

In related news, earlier this year, a second PIA aircraft made an emergency landing at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIA) after being struck by a bird, marking the third instance of a bird strike that could endanger flight safety.
Amazingly, the engine of the Boeing 777 survived the impact, and after a professional check, the plane was given the all-clear to fly to Dammam.
According to a study by the airline in this regard, at least 30 PIA aircraft were harmed by birds during the first half of 2022.
