Hareem Shah, a Pakistani TikTok celebrity, has issued yet another warning to prominent Pakistani politicians and religious leaders. Hareem Shah, who has a history of openly threatening well-known personalities from many walks of life by leaking intimate and private videos, took to Twitter once more, claiming that she will expose Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Mufti Abdul Qavi.
Shah had previously made disparaging remarks about lawmaker Rana Sanaullah, a key member of the PML-N. This time, the social media celebrity sparked outrage by criticizing Mufti Qavi for claiming that former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his third wife, Bushra Bibi’s Nikkah is “null and void.” In retribution, Hareem tweeted a private video of herself slapping the religious cleric in a bedroom setting, despite the fact that she had nothing to do with Qavi’s words.
In reaction to Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Hareem Shah warned Rehman, the head of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam party, and promised to expose his corrupt practices and illicit ties in front of the world tomorrow, May 15 at 11 a.m., saying that she will show his true colors in front of the public.
Although an unfortunate event, Twitterati has responded with polarized reactions towards Shah’s claims where some supported her for exposing men in positions abusing their powers while others lambasted her for maligning the name of religious figures for 15 minutes of fame.
This is not, however, the first time Mufti Abdul Qavi has been drawn into such turmoil. Previously, Qandeel Baloch, a social media sensation, accused Qavi of making similar claims. The internet also scrutinized him for his role in Baloch’s death.
