Health experts have constantly cautioned about the dangers of junk food, yet a Nashville resident claims he lost weight by bingeing at a renowned cafe that specializes in fried and sweetened foods. Can you lose weight by eating junk food three times a day?
A similar incident occurred Thursday when a man from Nashville, Tennessee, lost weight by eating such meals for a hundred days in a row.
Kevin Maginnis, 57, got resolved to lose weight after exceeding 238 pounds on the weighing scale in February. He had lost 58.5 pounds after 100 days.
After that, he ate one burrito and half of the hash brown or half of the muffin for breakfast — saving the rest for lunch.
He might order a meal, for the dinner, and eat half the burger, half the fries and half the apple pie — saving the rest for the next day.
“Save [the] other half for the next meal, rinse and repeat, and it’s been absolutely amazing,” he said.

Maginnis mentioned that he not only lost weight but also has healthy blood pressure and cholesterol.
His cholesterol has dropped by 65 points, and his blood pressure is “that of a teenager,” he claims.
“You can measure me healthier in every way,” he said.
After seeing the results, his wife pledged to join him on the 40th day of his diet, and she was 18 pounds lighter in just 65 days.
Lindsay Allen, a Florida-based dietitian who specializes in metabolic health and weight management, told Fox News Digital that she saw a few issues with the fast-food meal plan.
“When a person restricts calories for an extended period of time, their metabolism can drop by up to 30%.”
“Then, when the person resumes eating normal portions, they will immediately regain the weight.” This is why fad diets and calorie-cutting diets fail.”
However, Maginnis announced on Thursday that after the weight loss, he intends to embark on a new 100-day challenge aimed at boosting his “beast” by focusing on fitness goals and including cold plunges into his routine.
