‘Privacy naam di v koi…’: Diljit Dosanjh on reports of being ‘touchy’ with Taylor Swift

Diljit Dosanjh, a Punjabi icon known for his great sense of humor, responded to rumors that he became “touchy” with Taylor Swift, an American singer-songwriter, at a Vancouver restaurant. After reading such headlines, he discussed privacy on Twitter.

Diljit Dosanjh and Taylor Swift reportedly spent time together at the Cactus Club Cafe in Vancouver’s Coal Harbour, where they were reportedly observed laughing and touching each other.

“Vancouver Patrons were in for a surprise when they saw two of their favorite stars dining together at Cactus Club Cafe Coal Harbor on Monday night. Multiple sources confirmed that Taylor Swift & Diljit Dosanjh were laughing & being “touch touch”,” the news report read.

In the meantime, Imtiaz Ali and Diljit Dosanjh’s upcoming Netflix original movie Chamkila, starring Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra, has been announced. The life of Punjabi artist and musician Amar Singh Chamkila is the basis for the movie.

The well-known singer-actor surprised his fans with his first appearance when he introduced his dazzling new avatar for the eagerly awaited movie Chamkila. He is seen without a turban and wearing what appears to be a wig, however, the actor has declined to confirm this.

Diljit Dosanjh’s no-turban has received backlash from some social media users. “paaji pag kaha gayi twaadi, tussi hi to kahe to hun Mai koi role pag bina nahi Karanga? Pher? (Where is your turban, brother? It was you who once said that you’d not do any character without a turban. Then?”, said one user.

Some users had a problem with AR Rahman being the music director of the movie. They believe someone from the Punjabi movie industry should have worked for the music of the movie. “Typical bollywood behavior, making a musical film on Punjab with Mumbai music genre, “baj baja baja” like Punjab doesn’t have its own music. What is this cringe,” wrote one user.
