Pakistan first to provide aid for Afghan earthquake victims

Pakistan is among the first nations to provide aid to earthquake victims in Afghanistan on Thursday.

Approximately eight aid trucks were sent for the Afghan brothers and sisters on the special orders of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Residential camps, blankets, essential medications, and tarpaulin are all part of the humanitarian aid.

In a tweet, Zabehulah Mujahid, a spokesman for the Afghan Taliban, announced that Pakistan had sent aid trucks to Afghanistan.

As Afghanistan recovers from a devastating 6.1 magnitude earthquake, the Taliban have pleaded for international assistance.

At least 1,500 people have been hurt, and more than 1,000 people have died. Unknown numbers are buried beneath the ruins of homes that were frequently made of mud.

The people of Pakistan, according to Mansoor Ahmad Khan, Pakistan’s ambassador to Afghanistan, stand in solidarity with their Afghan brothers and sisters during this trying time. We are confident that the amiable Afghan people will respond to this natural disaster with their customary resiliency.
