“I tell you one thing, Shahrukh and Salman are the heroes of a big film industry, but when a Pakistani film gets hit in Pakistan, it does more business than any other movie, you have to keep your statistics intact about it as ‘Jawani Phir Nahi Ani’ & ‘Punjab Nahi Jaugi did great business while international movies were also released in the meantime,” he said recently on Gup Shup with Fuchsia. Humayun Saeed went on to say that even Indian films like ‘PK’ and ‘Sanju’ could not compete with his films. Similarly, when local films are successful in India, they do extremely well. “It’s love for your own country’s actors that people embrace their good work,” said Jawani Phir Nahi Ani’s actor.
