On Friday, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at the PM House in Islamabad.
Both the prime minister and the army leader discussed the country’s internal security challenges.
General Bajwa informed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of the country’s military forces’ professional preparation, which the latter complimented.
On the occasion, PM Shehbaz also complimented the Pakistan Army for supporting relief and rescue efforts in flood-affected areas of the country.
