Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has offered students in Pakistan a 10% discount on the two weekly flights from Islamabad to Chengdu and Islamabad to Xian-Beijing that connect Pakistan and China.
After completing their studies, students returning to China may immediately take advantage of the discount, a PIA spokeswoman told APP here on Sunday.
Many Pakistani students with enrollments in Chinese universities who are currently stranded in Pakistan because to Covid-19 travel restrictions want to travel to China to take part in offline classes. They are expecting permission from the Chinese government in this regard.
Due to airport closures in Xian and Beijing for international flights brought on by the Xian and Beijing earthquake, the PIA resumed passenger flights between Pakistan and China after a nearly six-month break.
