Mobile Medical Camp: At flood hit areas in D I Khan

A mobile medical camp was set up to provide medical facilities to the flood victims at their doorsteps in flood-hit areas like Kot Isa Khan, Hathala and Budh villages of Kulachi tehsil, Dera Ismail Khan.

The camp was set up on the behalf of the Member District Zakat Committee D I Khan and social activist Tariq Abbas Bukhari. Moreover, by the youths and doctors of D I Khan as well as of other districts including Dr. Mohammad Naveed of Mansehra, Dr. Abdul Rahman Zabdani of Rawalpindi, social activists Shahzad Aftab and Syed Ammar Yasir Kazmi. These all people play active role in it.

In the medical camp, the mobile medical team consisting of paramedical staff including technicians Owais Khan, Usman Sheikh, Muhammad Nauman and Israr Muhammad Khan conducted free checkups of about 700 patients and provided them free anti-viral and other medicines. Along with this, tarpaulin sheets, essential items, shoes, clothes and ration were also distributed among the flood affectees to protect them from the rains and more flooding.

Dr. Mohammad Naveed of Mansehra, Dr. Abdul Rahman Zabdani of Rawalpindi, social activists Shahzad Aftab and Syed Ammar Yasir Kazmi said we all have a mutual bond of humanity and in this time of trouble, along with the government institutions, we have come out to help and recover the victims and despite our limited resources, we will continue our efforts until the recovery of the last flood victim.
