Japan to raise voice for Africa in UN

Japanese President Fumio Kishida raises voice for the long unheard African Voice.

United Nations has done injustice for decades to Africa by not giving them a seat in the world body’s house (UN), says Japanese President.

By stating his views on the injustice, he proceeded to announce that Japan will use its own seat at the world body’s security council to reform the injustice done to the African for years.

Japan will push for a seat in United Nation (UN) reserved for Africa. “Japan reiterates its determination to redress the historical injustice against Africa of not being represented through permanent membership on the security Council.” Emphasized the Japanese president.

He then talked about reforming the security council by changing a few policies to make it better. These states are a member like are nothing but a “moment of truth”.

This step by Japan holds great importance because it was elected by the United Nations as the non-permanent member for the years 2023-2024.

Apart from that, to get the facts right, United Nations Security Council has a total member of 15. Five of them are permanent & have the VETO power.

Amidst this important conversations, Fumio Kishida also announced an aid of $30 Billion for Africa which they will return in the period of 3 years. Japan is also to envoy a special agent to horn of Africa.
