After the Khalistan Referendum, previously organized in the UK and other countries, the political movement has reached Canada, where a referendum will be held on September 18.

A Sikh justice referendum will be held on September 18 in Brampton, a suburb of Toronto. Just before the referendum, Sikhs in Canada organized a three-mile car rally that attracted the attention of local residents. More than 2,000 cars took part in the Toronto car parade Sunday night, according to media reports. Apart from the truck rally related to the referendum, the referendum was announced via a large billboard. The Khalistan referendum was held in London on October 31 last year.

Referendums have been held in several cities in Britain, Switzerland and Italy, and to date there are 450,000 Sikhs. Canadian Referendum is dedicated to Harjinder Singh Paria Shaheed. Canadian Sikhs set a new record in a 5 km rally with thousands of people. This is a new phenomenon and the beginning of a new awakening among third generation Sikhs who were born and raised in the West. Sikh youth are now leading the campaign for Khalistan. The September 18 poll is still a few days away, but the excitement is unmatched,” said Pannun.
