Pakistani Shadab Khan’s Asian Cup final proved to be a terrible nightmare after being hit twice in the head during the Sri Lankan innings. As Shadab dropped two catches which paved the way for Sri Lanka to score well ultimately winning the title of Asia Cup 2022.
As the first Feilding, Pakistan got off to a brilliant start in the power play, winning three wickets. However, they were unable to take the pressure as Sri Lanka broke the shackles at the end of the day, scoring 170 points from their 20 overs recorded.

Shadab was partly responsible for the Sri Lankan overhaul as he lost two crucial captures, one of which was parried by a six, in the match’s dead overs.It all started early in the day when Shadab slid to his feet while trying to stop a rollover. The player couldn’t control himself and was hit in the side of the head by the ball. The Pakistani physio was told by the players to rush as they thought Shadab might need a concussion test.
The spectators witnessed the mesmerizing performance of Sri Lankan batsmen as well as ballers. Sri Lanka has won the title of Asia Cup T20 2022 defeating Pakistan in the finals.
