Fact Check: Is Ali Zafar going to marry Bollywood actress Richa Chadda?
Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal, a famous Bollywood couple, recently posted updates on their wedding planning. Instead of using the name of Ali Fazal from Mirzapur, Indian writer Prashant Jain of Navbharat Times labeled artist Ali Zafar.
Ali Zafar is a Pakistani singer/actor who is already married, Chadha tweeted in response, adding a pondering face emoji.
Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal have been dating since 2015, but they made their relationship public in 2017 when the 3 Idiots actor posted a selfie on Instagram with the caption, “Hai toh hai.” The two were also co-stars in the film Fukrey Returns. In Call My Agent: Bollywood on Netflix, they also made lengthy cameo appearances.

When questioned about her upcoming nuptials in an interview with News18 conducted last month, Richa Chadha responded, “We will get married this year. We are eager to wed, but we also want to be responsible and worry about Covid. Don’t want the incorrect things to make the headlines. Plus, once things started to happen and work picked back up, we’ve both become really busy. So, I’m suggesting that in order to make this happen this year, we need to sort of conduct a live production job of taking combo dates.”
