Pakistan’s cultural capital, Lahore, which is also considered an economic hub, is set to host the country’s first business district to boost commercial activity in the region.
Former Prime Minister Imran Khan recently shared details of the project in a social media post. The PTI chief said earthworks for more than 100 skyscrapers in Punjab’s premier central business district, which will house businesses in a central location in Lahore, will begin on October 22.
The unique project will transform all infrastructure in the region, Khan hoped, adding that it would transform dead capital into viable transactions that would channel wealth creation for the country.
