Is the United States greasing a way to nuclear war with Russia?
An American journalist and political commentator said the United States is leading the way in a nuclear war with Russia. US President Joe Biden said Thursday that the risk of nuclear “Armageddon” is at its highest level since the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962 after Russian President Vladimir Putin threatened to use the country’s nuclear weapons in the face of war. Western nuclear aggression.
“This is not a bluff,” Putin said last month. “And those who are trying to blackmail us with nuclear weapons should know that the weather vane can turn and point to them.”
Biden said Thursday that Putin was “a man I know quite well” and that the Russian leader “was not joking when he talked about the use of tactical nuclear weapons or biological or chemical weapons.”
“We haven’t faced the prospect of Armageddon since Kennedy and the Cuban Missile Crisis,” Biden added. He suggested that Putin’s threat was real “because his army is you might say well below average.”
New York-based radio host Don DeBar said in an interview on Friday that “this is very dishonest.”
“Russia will not collapse in Ukraine at all. The United States is trying to create a narrative based on a few tactical retreats which scares me because it looks like they want to detonate a small nuclear bomb in Ukraine blame Moscow and use it as a weapon sorry uh for doing everything – war against Russia,” he said.
“The problem today is that trying this formula on a nuclear power Russia could very well provoke a reaction that nobody expected and nobody wanted,” he concluded.
Sending people to prison for possessing marijuana has upended too many lives and incarcerated people for conduct that many states no longer prohibit. That’s before you address the clear racial disparities around prosecution and conviction.
Today, we start to right these wrongs.
