On the final day of the two-day Asma Jahangir Conference at a hotel in Lahore, he spoke in a session titled “Climate Change and Floods in Pakistan.”
Bilawal says Imran Khan committed a suicide attack on Pakistan’s economy. The PPP chairman further stated that they democratically returned the prime minister who had arrived in an undemocratic manner.
Bilawal Bhutto stated that a vote of no confidence is the only democratic means of removing a prime minister.
He stated that his coalition government in the center has saved Pakistan from bankruptcy, adding that the nation’s political history has been marked by many peaks and valleys.
Asma Jahangir is a role model for human rights activists and attorneys, according to Bilawal. He emphasized bringing the plight of flood victims to the attention of the nation.
Other prominent figures of the country, including PPP Senator Raza Rabbani, PTI Senator Syed Ali Zafar, PPP Senator Dr. Nafisa Shah, PML-N leader, and former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, also spoke at the conference.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is a Pakistani politician who is serving as the 37th Minister of Foreign Affairs, in office since 27 April 2022. He became the chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party in 2007, following his mother’s assassination. He belongs to the Bhutto family, a prominent political family in Pakistan.
