Recent changes have occurred in the ongoing domestic violence case involving Aliza Sultan Khan, the former spouse of well-known actor Feroze Khan.
The victim allegedly suffered torture on July 7, 2020, leaving her with bruises all over her arm, according to the evidence she provided to the District and Sessions Courts Karachi East.
As per the images submitted to the court, Aliza was once again allegedly beaten up by her ex-husband on May 10, 2021.
Aliza’s family also took her for a medico-legal examination at the Postgraduate Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) and its reports were also submitted to the court.
As detailed in the medical report, as a result of torture, bruises were found on the victim’s arms and waist.
The court has scheduled the case’s next hearing for November 1, 2022.
Aliza’s attorney, Advocate Barrister Qaim Shah, claimed that “Feroze Khan had also tortured Alizah on November 15, 2020.” Aliza claimed that her son Sultan was hurt during the altercation with her ex-husband.
The attorney went on to say that “Feroze and his family threatened Aliza” when his client went to the police station to file a complaint.
Aliza was “often subjected to physical abuse on numerous occasions,” according to attorney Shah, “but she chose to remain silent because of her children.”
It should be noted that Aliza announced her separation from her ex-husband on her Instagram account on September 1, 2022.
“Our marriage of four years was an utter chaos. In addition to continuous physical and psychological violence during this period, I had to endure infidelity, blackmail, and degradation at my husband’s hand.”
She added: “I do not want my children to grow up in a toxic household.”
The couple had gotten married in March 2018 and have two children together — a boy and a girl.
