Plot to kill Arshad Sharif concocted in Pakistan, claims Vawda

Former lawmaker Faisal Vawda has claimed that the plot to kill a senior journalist Arshad Sharif was concocted in Pakistan.

Addressing a press conference, the PTI leader said the killing of Arshad Sharif was not an accident but it was a premeditated murder and fears there might be causalities in the PTI long march.

He said Arshad was either shot at close range or from inside the car.

“It is being said that around 20 bullets were shot and Arshad Sharif was killed. But this did not happen. According to me, he was shot from inside the car or close range. He received 2 bullets, in the head and chest, not 20 bullets.”

Vawda claimed that the story regarding a child’s kidnapping surrounding the journalist’s murder was false, saying that if a child was present in the case, why would the police open fire?

“This was cold planned brutal murder just of Arshad Sharif in this car, not anyone else.”

Plot to kill Arshad Sharif concocted in Pakistan, claims Vawda.

He said that he had made a video in which he had disclosed the names of the culprits.

No matter how the government approaches an investigation into his death, according to Vawda, the evidence associated with it will never be discovered because his paperwork, laptop, and mobile phone have all been deleted.

Arshad was “selected to be slain in Kenya by people who seek to break the country,” according to the PTI leader.

Vawda also asserted that he maintained continual touch with Arshad up until the very last moment, and he stated that he is willing to turn up his phone for forensic examination in order to confirm the veracity of his claims.

The PTI leader vowed not to identify those responsible for the crime. “I prepared a film and gave those people’s names. […] I gave those names internationally. I’ve donated tens of millions of dollars. I want you to understand that if I am shot and killed, you will also die.”

He continued, stating that Arshad Sharif was not prepared to leave the country and that the “plot began when FIRs (first information reports) were lodged against Arshad Sharif.

He was terrified by the conspiracy and desperately wanted to escape the country. When he arrived in Dubai, it was alleged that an unnamed institution or establishment put pressure on him to leave, but this claim is also false and untrue. He stayed in Dubai for the allotted amount of time before having to depart when his visa ran out. He was informed of the detour to London, but he never went there, according to Vawda.

The plot to kill Arshad Sharif was concocted in Pakistan, claims Faisal Vawda.

Arshad Sharif, he claimed, was unwavering in his beliefs, and no one could convince him otherwise. “I’ll take down all the curtains in the upcoming days. I promised my family that you would receive their bodies as gifts if anything happened to me.”

“Arshad Sharif could not have been sent to Kenya by a normal person. Who kept him secret and kept in touch with him in Kenya? The conspirators and liars who want to destroy the nation, my party, and our country are responsible,” he claimed.

Vawda claimed that the conspirators had intimidated Arshad Sharif and compelled him to flee the country. Arshad Sharif, according to him, was neither emigrating nor fleeing the nation.

He insisted that Arshad Sharif was not in danger from anywhere in Pakistan and that he had a good connection with the establishment.

Arshad Sharif had to depart the UAE after his visa expired, but he continued, not being ejected from Dubai. Despite rumors to the contrary, Arshad Sharif did not travel to London. The goals revealed to Arshad Sharif were the result of a conspiracy, he continued.

He claimed that those seeking to overthrow the government are late in transferring Arshad Sharif to Kenya.

Arshad Sharif, according to the PTI leader, was in communication with the government and planned to return home.

The PTI leader alleged that all evidence connected to the crime had been deleted and that neither Arshad Sharif’s laptop nor cell phone will be discovered.

He predicted that Imran Khan’s long march will be marred by blood and casualties.

He continued, “I see funerals in Imran Khan’s long march, and the game of dead bodies and blood should end in this nation.

The former minister issued a dire warning, saying that anyone who harmed me after my press appearance would perish within three to five hours.

The PTI leader went on to say that he knew who was responsible for Arshad Sharif’s slaying.

According to him, a plot is being planned under the Long March narrative, and many people, including some dignitaries, would perish in the coming days.

According to Vawda, Arshad Sharif was requested to leave the nation by Imran Khan with good intentions.

“Arshad Sharif was threatened into leaving the nation even though he didn’t want to. Who gains from this action?”

The PTI leader claimed that Arshad Sharif was moved to Kenya and that setting up a farmhouse there was not the responsibility of the average person. He also promised to identify those responsible in the coming days.

Vawda claimed that some Tehreek-e-Insaaf members subscribe to this conspiracy theory and that he is unable to engage in political activity related to Arshad Sharif’s passing.
