Pakistan Army invites applications for induction in its engineering corps as commissioned officers. FSc pre-engineering and ICS students can apply for Pakistan Army Technical Cadet course. Selected candidates will be offered admission to NUST colleges, and Pakistan Army will fully sponsor their studies. After completing four years degree, candidates will join Pakistan Army as captains.
Regular Commission will be offered to the selected candidates and candidates will be able to join Pak Army as an engineer and officers upon successful completion of their degree. Online registration shall start on December 26, 2022. The last date to submit the application for the Pak Army 34th Technical Cadet course is February 10, 2023.
Academic / Military Training for Technical Cadet course 2023
Studies: 4 Years Engineering degree program.
Military Training. After obtaining a Bachelor of Engineering Degree, cadets will undergo one-year military training at PMA Kakul.
Engineering Disciplines and institutions
Selected candidates will study one of the following degree programs in respective NUST colleges.
- Military College of Engineering Risalpur: Civil Engineering
- Military College of Signals, Rawalpindi: Electrical Telecommunication Engineering and Computer Software Engineering
- College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Rawalpindi: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer System Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering
- College of Aeronautical Engineering, Risalpur: Aeronautical Engineering
Eligibility Criteria for Pakistan Army Technical Cadet Course 2023
Age – 17 – 21 years on (relaxable for three months both in upper and lower age limit)
Gender – Male
Marital Status – Unmarried
Nationality. Citizen of Pakistan. Upon final selection candidates with dual nationality will have to surrender nationalities other than Pakistani.
Physical Standards
(1) Minimum Height: “- 5′- 4″ (162.5 cm)”
(2) Weight – As per Body Mass Index (BM!)
- Education. FSc {Pre Engineering) – Physics, Mathematics. Chemistry / Computer Studies / Computer Sciences with minimum 65% marks or ‘O’ level passed (English being compulsory) in five subjects and ‘A’ level passed in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry I Computer Studies I Computer Sciences in Grade A-C.”
- Candidates possessing qualifications such as ‘O’ level and ‘A’ level etc will be required to obtain an Equivalence Certificate and conversion of marks from Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (JBCC), Ministry of Education, Islamabad and attach it with the application form along with ‘A’ level pass in Mathematics. Physics, Chemistry, Computer Studies I Computer Sciences are essentially in Grades A-C.
- Candidates who have passed the FSc Part-I Examination with a minimum of 65% marks and are appearing in the FSc Part-II / Final Examination can also apply on “HOPE Certificates” duly issued by the Head of the institution. However, such candidates must submit their FSc Part-II roll no and name of Education Board along with a photocopy of roll no slip to GHQ, PA Directorate (PA-3b), Rawalpindi. FSc final result cards/mark sheets must be submitted within one week of the announcement of FSc Board results otherwise, candidates will not be considered in the final merit
- Candidates who have passed FSc in Computer Sciences can apply for Computer Software Engineering only.
Registration Through Internet. Candidates can register on the website www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk. Date and time of the test shall be intimated on the internet, for which the individual should have an e-mail account Candidates will report on the exact date and time given for the preliminary test on the computerized roll no slip
