Funny enough: Spain chases T20 history’s lowest target in just two balls

The Isle of Man set an unwelcome record by scoring the lowest total in men’s T20 cricket history while playing against Spain.

On Sunday, the team was bundled out for 10 runs by Spain after six of its players were dismissed for ducks, with Joseph Burrow leading the way with four runs. The entire team was eliminated in 8.4 overs.

Spain also set a record by completing the target in just two balls, securing a 10-wicket victory in an unusual contest.

“Crazy, just crazy,” Spain head coach Corey Rutgers told the Cricbuzz website. “It (the score) just went 4-4, 6-6. I’ve never seen anything like it in my life.”

The six-match series was won by Spain 5-0. Earlier, the record for the lowest total was held by Sydney Thunder.
