In collaboration with the Labor and Human Resource Department, the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) created Punjab Job Centre, an online platform that connects potential employers, promoters, employment exchange agencies and workers, job seekers, and citizens.
Since August 2022, over 35,000 workers have registered on the online portal, and over 4,000 jobs are available. The online job portal provides a comprehensive database of working human capital (skilled/semi-skilled/unskilled) from both the public and private sectors.
PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf stated in his remarks that the establishment of the Punjab Job Centre is an important step towards guiding the youth and assisting them in finding employment, which will benefit not only the industry but also the employers.
Job seekers and providers in both public and private sectors can register themselves as business owners or citizen workers at jobcenter.punjab.gov.pk. This Job Center also maintains a database of available human resources across the Punjab region.
