Governor Chaudhary Sarwar has yet to receive Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar’s resignation.
The Punjab Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD) has also not made any notification about the chief minister’s resignation is approved.
According to reliable sources, Prime Minister Imran Khan is keeping his resignation on file.
With the approval of the chief minister’s resignation, the Punjab cabinet would be disbanded.
It should be recalled that the prime minister just named Parvez Elahi as the new Punjab chief minister, and Usman Buzdar resigned in his favor.
