Awn Chaudhry, a prominent member of the Jahangir Khan Tareen (JKT) faction of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has been appointed as the prime minister’s sports and tourism adviser.
On the advice of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, President Dr. Arif Alvi has approved Awn Chaudhry’s appointment, as reported by 24NewsHD.
In addition, a notification has been issued in this regard.
The notification states that Awn Chaudhry’s position will be equivalent to that of a federal minister.
