Sushmita Sen, a Bollywood star and Miss Universe winner, is celebrating her 28th birthday today.
On May 21, 1994, she became the first Indian woman to win the Miss Universe crown after competing against 77 other women from around the world.
On Saturday, the Aarya actress took to Twitter to commemorate the occasion by posting a nostalgic photo of herself.
“Beautiful is a state of mind,” she wrote in the post. For the first time in our country’s history, India has been crowned Miss Universe. How quickly the years pass… There is still a lot of beauty in the world!
