One day, “Bab-ul-Ilm” Hazrat Ali (as) left for prayers, and a Jew was lying in wait for him. The Jew’s intention was to test Hazrat Ali. His question was also very interesting. As soon as Hazrat Ali left the house and went to the mosque, he immediately came to Hazrat Ali and asked, “ O Ali, tell me which animals lay eggs and which children? ” He was waiting for Ali (as) to stand up and take the names of the animals and his prayers would be wasted. Hazrat Ali replied with a smile, “Those who have ears inside lay eggs, and those who have ears outside give birth.” This is the ultimate example of social and emotional intelligence.
We have six papers and 100 numbers, the only way to measure the intelligence of our children. The child who gets the most out of these six leaflets and 100 marks will be declared intelligent. And who will not clear in these pamphlets will be called “dull mind.” In our childhood, it was said, “You will read, you will write, you will be a Nawab, and if you will play, you become bad,” but on the one hand, seeing cricketers, footballers, and on the other hand, seeing the plight of engineers and doctors, children are more interested in “spoiling” themselves by playing all day long.
We do not really know what this modern age is and what the requirements of this age are. It is full of charm and flamboyance which attracts students more than a cheap and compassionate curriculum taught in various fields. If we want to keep up with modernity, we need to get an idea of what the real world is offering.
Azeem Premji is one of India’s biggest business tycoons, he said in an interview. “Even if I ever get a chance to study, I will never study at Pakistani and Indian universities.” Our country’s universities offer degrees of “insult to humanity”. After getting this, youngsters have a degree but their self-confidence is gone. Our brain has two parts. One is the right part which works to think and understand and the other is the left part which is accustomed to doing the traditional work. From school to college and from college to university, “notes” are the only key to success. It’s never your turn to use the right side of the brain.
For the first time in 1983, Harvard University professor Howard Gardner theorized that there are nine types of intelligence. You cannot teach all children through one desk and one book. Imagine putting an elephant and a monkey in the same class. Say to the monkey, “Sit in one place with distinction and read with dignity like an elephant.” And tell the elephant, “Let’s jump from one tree to another.” Believe me, our education system is nothing but that.
When two animals in this great world of God are not of the same instinct, how can all minds think alike in this colorful world of Allah Almighty? Remembering something quickly or remembering it for a long time is a “talent”. Not every human being has the same talent. Yes, but everyone has a brain and everyone can use it. Using the brain is a skill. And it comes from practice. As much as this skill will be observed from childhood education, amazing feats and inventions will continue to take place in the world.
As long as this wonderful device named the brain was used by Muslims, these feats and inventions were carried out by Muslims. We’ve made it rusty. Our “Rita Schooling System” is like living in a fool’s paradise expecting new ideas from old minds in the magnificent buildings of our universities. Take a look at the beauty of the universities of the top world and see your position in them. What a wonderful way to screw people over. Where you can’t read or write anything without the permission of the government. Where books in the library come after government permission
However, in 2016 Donald-O-Clifton added to this theory, stating that “everyone is intelligent but their abilities are different and there are 34 types of” strength.” Clifton has developed a regular scale so that you can gauge your mental capacity. The 21st century is a time of social and emotional intelligence. The IQ era is over. The world has “rejected” it. What is your child’s ability to build and maintain relationships with people? Do you have the intelligence to make timely and accurate decisions? Making people understand their point of view and taking action according to their ability is the real intelligence of this age. Expressing your conscience and convincing people of your point.
If your child does not have this intelligence, self-confidence, and confidence in his / her abilities, he/she will fail even with full marks in all the subjects. The real problem of the corporate system is not the competence of the people but the lack of emotional and social intelligence. Make sure your child is very intelligent. So intelligent that no one in the world has such intelligence. You just have to be more discriminating with the help you render toward other people. Just recognize his intelligence and don’t drive everyone away with one stick.
