Nawaz Sharif confirms homecoming in October this year. For the first time, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has stated that he will return to Pakistan in October of this year.
Nawaz, who has been in London since November 2019 due to health concerns, stated this for the first time on Friday during a meeting with party workers and supporters at Stanhope House.
Ex-PM Shehbaz Sharif was among those there, as were PML-N leaders Chaudhary Tanveer, Danyal Chaudhary, Chaudhary Nadeem Khan, Dr Anjum, and others.
According to those present at the Stanhope House discussion, Nawaz’s visit to Pakistan is confirmed for next month, though no specific date has been set.

PML-N President Shehbaz said two weeks ago that his elder brother would be returning in October.
“Nawaz Sharif will return to Pakistan in October and lead the election campaign and this has been decided after the PML-N party consultations,” Shehbaz said as Nawaz stood next to him.
As Nawaz Sharif confirms homecoming in October this year, Shehbaz said that when Nawaz returns to Pakistan, he will face the law.
Nawaz arrived in London on November 19, 2019, after being dangerously unwell in prison.
The family claimed that the Imran Khan-led government and his “backers” attempted to poison Nawaz. For four months, he was treated at the Harley Street Clinic and London Bridge Hospital.
Nawaz had been diagnosed with an immune system illness, and doctors in Pakistan advised him to seek treatment elsewhere because his condition deteriorated despite receiving the finest possible care in the nation.
