Unstoppable Shaheen destroys Indian top order. In the first few overs of Saturday’s second game of the Asia Cup 2023 in Kandy, Sri Lanka, Pakistan’s great bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi destroyed India’s top order.
The important players of the opposition squad, Virat Kohli (4) and Indian captain Rohit Sharma (11) were both dismissed by the quick-arm pacer.
The game has been stopped twice due to light showers, but the rain is playing hide and seek in Pallekele Cricket Stadium.
While spectators wait for the high-tension battle of the event to resume, the ground maintenance has covered the surface to protect it from the rain.
At the time the tale was being written, India had 51 runs and seven wickets in 11.2 overs when Haris Rauf dismissed another batsman.
As Shaheen destroys Indian top order, rain is a serious concern for today’s Pakistan vs. India game as well as upcoming matches, and fans are still interested in the ticket return policy.
As a result of recent rains in Kandy, the Pakistan Cricket Board has revised its guidelines for reimbursing ticket purchases for the Asia Cup.
Refunds will only be given in accordance with the refund policy if a match is postponed before the toss or if a match’s site is changed and the ticket holders are unable to attend the event at the new location.
In case a match is called off after the toss, the PCB was clear that no reimbursements will be given.
